When I am not working, I find peace in long walks through the forest, especially when mushroom picking. I found quite a few morels and one giant bolete in Tahoe last fall! Gardening keeps me grounded and cooking is where I get creative. I never use measurements and rarely follow recipes but somehow, it works- I don’t ever hear my husband complaining 🤣. Lately, I’ve been exploring meditation and self-hypnosis, reshaping how I see the world in the best way possible, but at the core, I believe life’s best things are simple - fresh air, good food, and the quiet confidence that comes from trusting yourself, whether in the kitchen, the forest or behind the camera.
