Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive osteoporosis risk assessments and initiate appropriate investigations (e.g, DXA scans, blood tests)- Develop and implement personalised bone health management plans, including pharmacological and lifestyle interventions- Provide expert education and support to patients, families, and carers on fracture prevention and bone health- Collaborate with orthopaedics, rheumatology, endocrinology, and primary care to ensure seamless continuity of care- Monitor treatment adherence and outcomes, using audit data to drive service improvement- Lead quality initiatives aligned with national FLS standards and NICE guidance- Advocate for vulnerable populations, ensuring equitable access to bone health services.
