I graduated from the University of Akron in 1979 with an Arts and Sci, Bach-Sociology. My cycling background also began in 1979 with my purchase of my first bicycle from a bike shop. I was car free until 1989 and developed my interest in commuting and alternative forms of transportation. I became the R of R-D Bike Shop and the office manager in R-D Bike Shop will be celebrating 34 years of business this year. My husband Don, the D of R-D Bike Shop started the shop with his father, Robert in 1979. Specialties: I am the Office Manager of the shop. I order the parts, accessories, and bicycles we sell at our shop. I also work the sales floor-fitting customers for new bikes, answering questions and sharing fun-cycling.
