About Ruth Lamb

I bring over 13 years of experience as a community organiser, facilitator, researcher, psychotherapist and yoga teacher. I am registered with COSCA in Scotland and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’ve had a varied and dynamic career where I have worked as a project and strategic lead for projects that support community activism, education and development in the field of human rights in Scotland. I have supported people experiencing poverty and oppression from a diverse range of backgrounds and age groups. I offer Accessible Yoga and Breath work classes for people who are marginalised from traditional yoga spaces. I currently work for Rape Crisis Scotland as a crisis support worker on their much valued Helpline. I am the Co-founder of the Change Collective, a small and powerful organisation who offers yoga and wellbeing projects and workshops for people experiencing marginalisation, oppression or limits in accessing yoga in society. In 2025-2026 I will open up my private therapy practice, offering person-centred and integrative therapy, both online and in person, in Glasgow.
