About Ruth Maposa

I am a young professional passionate about entrepreneurship and women empowerment. Through working at an organisation aimed at empowering young African Tech talents, I have developed a skill set that will aid in realizing my passion for community building. My key interests lie in Social Development, particularly the empowerment and development of disenfranchised social groups. My background in Psychology and Sociology has aided in me understanding of social issues, so as sensitising my approach to community building. My added skills in foundations of project managent and leadership enable me to execute projects efficiently. Further my digital story telling skill enable her to collect data, analyse it and provide a detailed report and feedback on projects. My experience in the entrepreneurship and tech space has garnered my interest in empowering women owned, tech enabled startups. My background in Social Sciences and experience as an entrepreneur in the informal sector fuel my passion for empowering women like myself. I am a dedicated, diligent, focused, goal driven, and results and service oriented individual. I am also a strong team player that works and leads with integrity. I have excellent administrative skills and I am a quick study. Hence I learn and adapt quickly to any given task.
