Operational Excellence may be a generic term and here's how I translate this into my current role. Transformation is my team's primary gig. We support operational teams to navigate change whilst keeping on track with the FY plan YOY. Stakeholder (with a capital "S") are my internal customers. I love influencing stakeholders to come on board so getting the pitch right is everything for internal campaigns to succeed. For time critical projects, success for my team happens when working with key stakeholders brings all teams on board. 20 years leadership and hands-on experience in operational management creating bespoke service centre solutions to transform existing operations definitely helps! It's not about 'been there - tried that'. It's now about - what's on the frontier and guiding towards building out the future state. Tech Industry - Operational experience has taught me that the latest and greatest tech trend isn't always the best solution. Sometimes it's about changing up the process, ownership and empowering teams to implement their ideas. Excellence - We're all striving for this and when I and/or my team create the formula to reduce cost to serve, cost to support, cost to deliver we've achieved that magic win/win for our customers, teams, stakeholders and company.
