About Ruud Jonkers

I am a mechanical engineer with a lot of hands on experience in producing components. I have extensive 3D design experience with several programs, mainly Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo Parametric and Solid Edge. I am also familiar with FEA in Inventor & SolidWorks. I have a practical approach, a keen eye for efficiency, I like to think I am creative and innovative and like to get a good understanding of the design intent of the products I work with. I have hands on experience with milling, lathes, injection moulding, welding, spark erosion, laser cutting, drilling, cutting and grinding due to my day to day job, vocational education and many summer jobs as a manufacturer in all sorts of engineering disciplines. My goal is to learn as much as I can from different disciplines in the mechanical engineering area and become a very experienced mechanical engineer and maybe work towards a managerial role.
