About Ry Kovacevich

Growing up I was often on the futon in my Mother's art studio, an Emmy-nominated set-designer and art director for public television, watching her work. The creativity was instilled at a very young age, and as time went on, that art studio went on to have a computer, where I learned the basics of Adobe in the early days. Music was instilled in my early teenage years, and became a facet for my artistic fascination and exploration. After years of private lessons, practice and refinement, I was accepted to Berklee College of Music. My completion of college led to vast opportunities as a trained musician but more specifically as an audio engineer. Having refined my ear as a musician, it led to work as an audio engineer and producer for beautiful Orlando based Phat Planet Recording Studios. Spending hours in various studio roles, flexing both technical and musical sensibilities, and learning from some of the industries most adept engineers and musicians. Following this I was offered a position as Director of Technical Arts for the First United Methodist Church, where I was able to support community needs through my craft, and assist in my team building and management skills, leading a fantastic production team to execute flawless services and performances. Most recently I have worked as a freelance engineer and producer, providing studio and live show support through my technical expertise and musical abilities. Employment in varying positions within technical and production departments has given me the invaluable knowledge for strong communication skills and success within a team or individual setting making me an ideal candidate for positions requiring creative skill paired with efficient workflow. I live for the creative arts, and my background and knowledge in the technical world only begins to outline my creative and enthusiastic approach to the workplace.
