Ryan is a dynamic leader. Contagious positivity and clear, dynamic communication are assets that he brings to the workplace and to all professional situations. He has demonstrated the ability to motivate others, work with ambiguity and tackle complex challenges throughout his career. Exercising his passion for helping others learn, Ryan built and expertly facilitated training programs for groups of professional business advisors which yielded high praise and record net promoter scores at the Value Builder System. As a Senior Management Consultant at Deloitte, Ryan built a reputation for exceptional work, strong relationships and excellent results in his client engagements. He worked with a number of large organizations both in Canada and internationally to develop, drive and implement change management strategies for their technological and strategic transformation programs. Throughout this time, Ryan provided coaching to colleagues, fostered a sense of community within his teams and became an internal subject matter expert for training strategies and programs. Before completing his MBA at Queen’s University, Ryan developed his leadership skills through Cintas’ Management Training Program where he rotated through multiple leadership positions. In his first autonomous leadership role, he established a unique cross-department communications approach for his team and led his employees through the transition. These changes resulted in multiple performance awards for the department over a 2-year period. Fueled by his love of helping to remove barriers for people, he also engaged in leading and managing a turnaround effort of a young start-up division resulting in its first profitable month since its launch and setting the trend for year-round profitability moving forward. As a long-time leader of his rugby club, Ryan was elected into the Club Captain role during a period of strategic transition. In collaboration with the board of directors, he helped develop the club’s future strategy to keep the organization a central part of the community for the 200+ active members as well as hundreds of alumni. Ryan thrives on interacting with people and doing what it takes to make a difference while maintaining integrity. On a personal note, he has a love for all sports, particularly team sports, and pursues a host of adventures in the wilderness.
