I currently manage the engineering and construction of water and wastewater capital improvement projects in a manner that delivers highly complex projects on time, within budget, and of high quality. Projects range in time from 1 year to 4 years duration and from $1 million to $100 million utilizing Federal and State Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Funding, as well as County and City funding. The Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant - 466-acre industrial site in Baltimore, MD - 35-foot elevation difference from influent to outfall - Serves 1.3 million residents in a 140 square mile area of Baltimore City and Baltimore County Twenty-four-hour, year-round plant operation is maintained. Our facility has evolved into a tertiary treatment plant and is currently designed to treat 180 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater utilizing fine bubbles, air distributed activated sludge. Utilizing phosphorus control by chemical addition and nitrogen control by biological processes, we currently remove a majority of these nutrients with ENR processes. Hydraulically, the BRWWTP can handle peak flows of over 400 MGD. In my career, I have experience managing sustainable infrastructure development projects in Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia since 2014 for Military, Federal, State, and Local Governments using state of the art technologies, systems, and engineering practices.
