About Ryan Atkinson

Ryan finished secondary school at Scotch College. From there he attended the University of Western Australia and completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Law and Human Resource Management. Striking an interest in property he enrolled at Curtin University to study Property Development and Valuation. Furthering these studies Ryan took up half a year at the University of Notre Dame studying Finance where he was additionally placed on the board of the Bell Potter backed Student Investment Fund. While at Curtin he represented the University in the Cornell Property Investment Competition in Sydney. Post completion he commenced full-time work in ACTON’s Commercial Sales and Leasing team as a Sales Agent. Ryan signed with the State Valuation Service in Queensland to the capacity of an Assistant Valuer where he later became qualified as a Commercial Practicing Valuer. Ryan now works with Opteon completing commercial valuations predominately for mortgage security purposes. Ryan serves on the Australian Property Institute’s Young Property Professionals committee for the state of Western Australia and studies part-time online at the Queensland’s University of Technology (QUT) to complete an Honors in Law.
