About Ryan Beeby

I'm an Engineer and IT Professional, Manager and Mentor. I'm able to manage technical teams, large projects and independent hands on work. I've had a wide range of experiences in Australia and abroad, and built strong intuition and problem solving within highly regulated Nuclear and Pharmaceutical fields, whilst staying connected to fundamental research and first of a kind commercialisation efforts. I develop and nurture technology strategy, but get hands on when needed. I'm comfortable working across the discipline spectrum in managing risk, particularly when Cybersecurity, Functional Safety and Human Factors are at play. I love developing early career Engineers and IT Professionals as they establish themselves in the workplace, and am known for giving a taste of STEM to school aged students via education outreach activities whenever possible. I'm excited by the next decades of development in Nuclear, Quantum and Space for the betterment of humanity, yet stay grounded and connected to our communities next generation via Scouts (Partio) and our most vulnerable via volunteer rescue services.
