About Ryan Bingham

I am currently employed by the United States Air Force as an Emergency Management Specialist. I hold a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. In my current profession, I am responsible for response, planning, and mitigation capabilities to natural disasters, major accidents and weapons of mass destruction worldwide. I hold multiple certifications in Hazardous Materials, FEMA and logistics management. During my Air Force career, I have been trained in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE), Force Protection, and damage assessment. I have also managed programs related to safety and training. While working in the fire department, I have become certified as an NREMT Paramedic and NFPA Firefighter II. As a volunteer for Pennington County Search and Rescue and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) I have been trained in interagency and intra-agency emergency communications, utilizing the Incident Command System, as well as the fundamentals of search and rescue. Based on the knowledge and experience I possess, I would like to further my career in the field of Emergency Management.
