About Ryan Bogard

Food & beverage fermentation specialist experienced in managing cross-functional teams, from R&D to operations, to drive product development and commercialization. Adept at overseeing capital projects, translating technical innovations into scalable production systems, and forging strong external partnerships. Always on the lookout for new technologies and strategies that can bring competitive advantages and unlock value. I've supported multiple precision fermentation companies in tech transfer and scaling from bench to pilot and commercial scales using BioMRL framework. Currently, working with Mars Petcare Global S&T to assess and translate novel fermentation-based ingredients into the next generation of safe, sustainable and nutritious petfood products. If you produce alternative proteins or fats and oils then let's connect! I'm also an award winning commercial Cider Maker with 8 medals including 4 Gold and 2 double Gold at the 2018 Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP). Designed, commissioned, operated and maintained a regional hard cider production facility. I also make a mean batch of kimchi :)
