About Ryan Bullis

I am a talented Clinical Trial Manager who is experienced in trial execution, ICH-GCP, clinical research monitoring, and drug development. I have been a Clinical Trial Manager at DOCS Global, contracted to Amgen, since January 2018. I am responsible for leading the cross-functional global study management team, focusing on trial management supervision, planning, and coordination. To date, I have gained extensive experience in Cardiology, Oncology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology, and Pulmonology clinical trials. I graduated from the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC-Chapel Hill with a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences in December of 2013. After gaining extensive experience and education in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development within the academic setting, I am provided with the insight to understand drug candidates from a molecular biology standpoint. This awareness allows me to bring a well-rounded approach to monitoring clinical trials. My education and background working in research and development makes me an ideal fit for my current role. My graduate education has prepared me to efficiently and accurately produce, manage, and organize large data sets. As you will see from my doctoral dissertation, one of my strongest assets is my ability to interpret data and form a strong and unique hypothesis. My PhD work has focused on a novel hypothesis of biosynthesis of the heparin molecule in vivo. I have been afforded many opportunities to present my research in many various settings. Coming from a lab focused on heparin research I maintain expert knowledge in hemostasis and thrombosis.My career goals consist of advancing as a clinical trial manager, with the hopes to move into a clinical operations director role in the future.
