About Ryan Burns

I am currently working in Customer Service for an online e-commerce store. I have been working in this field since May 2021 and thoroughly enjoy this job and helping customers receive the help they need with their orders. My responsibilities at this job include responding to customer emails, keeping track of older orders, shipping out orders that have been held back for some time, and working with PayPal directly to solve disputes and claims. I am starting at Montgomery County Community College in January of 2022 in the Education in the Early Years field. I have been a nanny/babysitter for a very long time and enjoy caring for children. I was also a Nanny during the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis and was able to help the children during their online schooling. I enjoyed being a part of shaping their minds into great human beings and am excited to explore a degree in this field. My younger job experience includes being a server and busser for two different restaurants. At both restaurants, my responsibilities included sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, taking orders, filling up empty cups, and customer care. I graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 2019. During my years there, I completed a Culmination Project in which I volunteered at a local cat shelter taking care of the cats and also creating toys to donate to animal shelters that were in need. At Upper Dublin High School, I also completed a Community Study where I volunteered at Fort Washington Elementary School helping out my previous 5th-grade teacher, who now teaches 4th grade, throughout the day. I helped lesson plan, read at storytime, took children to their "Specials"(Art, Library, and Music), and had a time where I taught my lesson. I consider myself hardworking and determined. I enjoy helping people and love to experience group achievements. I work best in groups and love helping others as well.
