My role involves developing and implementing adaptive golf programs for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. Collaborating with stakeholders like golf courses, rehabilitation centers, disability advocacy groups, coaches, and volunteers, the team manages clinics and equipment donation programs and research adaptive sports equipment. They recruit, train, and supervise a team of adaptive sports instructors, golf instructors, coaches, and volunteers and coordinate program logistics. They provide individualized support to participants and foster a positive environment. The program promotes and reaches through marketing strategies, community events, workshops, and networking opportunities. Regular evaluations and reports are prepared to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. The team also coordinates training sessions and seminars for coaches, instructors, volunteers, and program staff, focusing on inclusive coaching techniques, disability awareness, and adaptive sports best practices. They stay updated on the latest research and trends in adaptive golf to implement relevant knowledge into program development and delivery. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at St. Joseph's University New York, where I am developing my skills in business, management, marketing, and related support services. I have also earned multiple certificates in leadership, supervision, management, and marketing from the same university. I am a proud member of the St. Joseph's College Men's Collegiate Golf Team and a recipient of the 2023 Saint Joseph’s University Golden Eagle Award, which recognizes my outstanding effort in athletics and commitment to the team's concept.
