About Ryan Carpenter

I'm a video production professional with 8+ years of experience in the industry. So far, my career has taught me the importance of flexibility. The nature of the video production industry requires being talented in multiple aspects of the production process. From pre-production planning and scripting with clients, to on-camera talent management and freelance contractor coordination, to lighting and staging, to camera and audio operation, to media management and editing, to color correction and audio mixing, to master exports and broadcast delivery; knowing how to use use the tools at hand to bring quality results is key. My clients have included the Town of Cary, the Atlantic Coast Conference, Fishing League Worldwide, and PBS NC among many others. My broadcast work has aired on Discovery, NBC Sports, Sportsman Channel, Bally Sports Sun, PBS NC, ACCN, and Waypoint TV. Additionally, several projects have included live TV broadcasts and events streamed live online. I am experienced in working with on location lighting, camera operation, teleprompter operation, Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid Media Composer, and Baselight for Avid. One of the proudest moments of my career was being able to be a part of the post production team for Visibly Speaking.
