I've consistently been a top Recruiter within the company, thanks to my innovative approach to creating new tools, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining some of the best metrics for advancing candidates through the hiring process. Diversity is at the core of my recruitment strategy, and I've successfully increased diverse recruiting within my region by over 50% for multiple years. I also conduct recruiting refresher trainings and Mergers & Acquisitions trainings for specialty companies, ensuring that our team remains sharp and adaptable in a dynamic industry. My journey at Sysco began as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, where I quickly advanced to my current position after just 6 months. Prior to joining Sysco, I enhanced my skills as a Human Resources/Facilities Administrator in the Oil & Gas industry, where I managed HR projects, supported recruitment processes, and ensured smooth onboarding for personnel. I’m passionate about making the recruitment process engaging and enjoyable, often adding a touch of humor with a funny dog meme when moving candidates forward. I’m driven by the opportunity to help people find careers they love while contributing to the success of our Talent Acquisition team. Looking ahead, my goal is to continue growing within the Talent Acquisition field, focusing on improving processes, troubleshooting, and providing training. Outside of work, I’m a proud dog dad, enjoy spending time with family and friends, indulging in TV shows, and finding new dishes to cook and try.
