I lead security at Black Rifle Coffee Company. Physical and cyber — same program, same team, same problem.I’m a Chief Security Officer and CISO with a career built across some of the most complex security environments in the world — The Walt Disney Company, Levi Strauss & Co, and now BRCC. Sensitive investigations, organized crime, insider threats, cyber incident response, threat intelligence, AI governance, executive protection — I’ve worked across all of it and learned that the hardest problems are never purely technical.I lead through servant leadership and real personal trust. My team is the asset. Everything else is infrastructure. Building people who can navigate uncertainty — before it becomes a crisis and through it when it does — is the work I’m most proud of. Part of that means staying ahead of what’s coming — right now that means actively harnessing agentic AI as a force multiplier, not just governing it from a distance.Outside of BRCC I advise startups and investors on security strategy, emerging technology risk, and AI governance. That includes working with Bain Capital and a select group of venture and growth equity firms, serving on the RH-ISAC CISO Advisory Board, and participating in the Corporate Information Security Roundtable at SDA Bocconi. I speak regularly at industry events on cybersecurity innovation, agentic AI, and building security programs that create long term outcomes rather than temporary comfort.I’m a veteran and a practitioner who believes good security teams — built on trust, innovation, and relentless focus on what actually works — can do remarkable things.If you’re building something in the security space, evaluating risk, or just want a real conversation — I’m here.
