About Ryan Cloud

I completed my Master's degree in Clinical exercise physiology at Ball State University. Throughout my time there I developed interpersonal skills working with my fellow classmates and advisors. I have performed cardiopulmonary exercise testing and created individualized exercise prescriptions for patrons within the Adult Physical Fitness program. Graduate studies within the Human Performance Laboratory has granted me the opportunities to expand my exercise background into clinical settings. Part of my Graduate assitantship was to work as an exercise physiologist in an AACVPR accredited Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program where I have worked alongside an interdisciplinary team of specialists. Throughout my time there I have garnered a passion for Exercise Testing not only for it's direct measure of fitness, but for its diagnostic purposes of identifying any underlying disease or anomalies. My undergraduate career was focused on research in the Nutrition and Exercise Performance laboratory at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During my time there I acquired a respect for research subjects, and other skills from data collection/analysis to wet lab work. I was apart of numerous studies involving muscle and blood processing and analysis. My Graduate assistantship, research experiences, and education from both of my Universities have adequately prepared me to work one-on-one and with a team of specialists in a professional research setting.
