About Ryan Colis

I'm a problem solver. I've always enjoyed creating simple solutions for very complex puzzles. So, naturally, my favorite part of my role at Alterra is the analysis – whether analyzing a financial plan or reviewing an investment portfolio. However, the profession allows me to share that enjoyment with clients by helping them navigate financial complexities as they collaborate on achieving their personal and financial goals. After completing my undergraduate degree in Business Management, Grant and I met and have been working together ever since. I've continued my formal training by earning my CFP and CFA designations. When not in the office, I spend my free time with my wife Ashley and two daughters, Dylan and Xandra. Living in North Bend, we love the outdoors and always stay active. When not at work or in the mountains, I'm usually in the kitchen pursuing his passion for creating healthy gourmet meals.
