About Ryan Colond

Although trained in the discipline of Biology, I furthered my education in the Arts through the exploration of Theology, Spirituality and Social Anthropology. As a teacher, my interest has been about how a young person shapes his or her worldview through their time in school. My experience as a Life Coach, Spiritual Director and in the Military has lent itself naturally to forming young leaders and shaping student agency. Additionally, my leadership experience as both a military officer and as a Head of Department has honed my skills in people management, strategic planning and communication. As a Teacher, my passion lies in creating powerful curriculum that allows students to develop a joy for learning and share their own dreams and concerns about the world ahead of them. As an intentional Catholic, my faith is a central part of my work. I spent my early career developing meaningful programme that sought to enable adults and teens access authentic Catholic teaching. Amidst a world where false theologies and misconceptions surrounding the Catholic faith prevail, I find fulfillment in helping people understand the unitive aspect of religion rather than promote a divisive agenda.
