About Ryan Connelly
After 10 years of working as a distributor of fine wine, saké and spirits with Ruby Wines in Massachusetts, I am excited to begin a new career as the Northeast Regional Manager for Rosenthal Wine Merchant serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. It is a company I have always admired and I'm honored to have the opportunity to be its ambassador to the region. My first encounters with the wines imported by Rosenthal Wine Merchant came as a young server at Eastern Standard in Boston in 2009, where I caught the wine bug and never looked back. There was always something distinctive and memorable about the bottles that bore the back label, more so than others it seemed, and it sparked a hunger to learn more. Throughout the rest of my journey in fine dining, wine retail and eventually distribution, I've still found myself gravitating towards these wines and their stories, and it gives me great pleasure to now represent them.
