Ryan is a DGC director and picture editor of the independent feature film SNOW and 16 short films that have screened and won awards internationally at festivals like FilmQuest, Reykjavik International Film Fest, Salem Horror, Raindance, LUSCA, Toronto After Dark, Blood in the Snow, Canadian Film Fest, Genreblast, and many others. His films have also garnered features in The Globe and Mail, CBC Radio, Now Magazine, The Verge, BlogTO, and other print and digital publications.In 2022 Ryan was selected to participate in the Reykjavik International Film Fest's Talent Lab as well as have his film 'The Whisper of Succulents' nominated for the festival's prestigious Golden Egg award.In 2023, Ryan edited the IPF Development pitch for the digital series 'It Doesn't Show'(Szaboteur Productions) which was selected for full IPF financing and a series order on APTN. It goes to camera in 2024,with Ryan on board as the series' picture editor.
