What started as just having fun and filming my friends skateboarding, turned into a passion that would send me around the world filming some of the top pros on the DVS Shoes and Matix Clothing skateboard teams. While there, I helped create all types of content and assets for those companies ie. tour videos, Day-in-the-life videos, how-to’s, BTS of catalog shoots, campaign and commercial content. But, it was the catalog photo shoots for Matix Clothing’s women’s line that turned out to be some of the most creative and fun things to film. This would lead to me helping shoot a Silver Jeans campaign, and working with Wendy Zomnir on Urban Decay cosmetics product release videos and how-to content and helping to shoot BTS and photo shoot content for PÜR cosmetics.It was working with Borboleta Beauty and Laced Hair Extensions, and some trial and error, that lead to learning the nuances of what is needed to create the style of videos that would help them launch successful online masterclasses. This is why I started Blend Media Co and why I want to continue helping beauty brands with content strategy to grow their business and help them turn their beauty expertise into profitable online masterclasses.
