About Ryan Demotte

I currently serve as the manager of contract and insurance administration with the Elliott Group. Prior to this position, I was in private practice as an attorney. My practice focused on providing strategic legal advice to clients on a broad range of commercial disputes and transactions. I have helped clients from small businesses to multinational corporations develop solutions to efficiently manage legal risk and achieve business goals. I represented clients in a variety of industries, including construction, technology, real estate, and manufacturing. My dispute resolution experience includes representation of clients as lead counsel in state and federal court, as well as arbitration and mediation. In the construction industry, I have represented clients in disputes on large industrial, infrastructure, and commercial projects throughout the U.S. and internationally. In addition to my dispute resolution practice, I have also served as general business counsel for several companies, including a large international commercial contractor. In this capacity, I advised clients on a variety of business issues and negotiated commercial and construction contracts. This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of how legal strategy must serve the overall business goals of my clients. Prior to joining Leech Tishman, I spent over 10 years at a large international law firm practicing complex commercial litigation with a focus on construction, insurance coverage, and antitrust law.
