About Ryan Dennett

My time with music has been short however it has also been very fulfilling, in my travels I have toured the country, supported some great bands, had headline shows that have been epic and met some really interesting characters. For the opportunities that I have had I am very proud of not only myself but the guys that are in my band. we are CANDIDATE23. After 1 and a half years of live performing I started to work as an Audio Technician with my friends company IE Audio Hire. This was another route that highly interests me, since starting doing this I have worked on Gigs, Festivals and Conferences around the Country, gaining experience in how to set-up different events and also how to engineer them. In September 2013 I started an FD in Commercial Music Technology with the University of Chester, the time I have spent has been very enjoyable, it has allowed me to open up my eyes a little more to different roles within the industry and how playing in a band isn't the Holy Grail of the Industry. At the start of the course I started to apply myself to Lighting, this is my newest challenge and in early 2014 I started my own Lighting/AV Hire company
