About Ryan Dixon

While at Western Washington University I have been apart of active teams curating different aspects of a student ran scholarship. I have been a part of non profit advocate blog where I used social media and emerging technologies to highlight my work and gain a following. I have learned very effective communication skills working in many teams whether it is face to face in a classroom setting, as well as through different media channels when I worked as a community manager for the company Tagboard. As a part of the Tagboard team, I worked hand in hand with representatives from the NFL, MLB, NBA, and MLS teams as well as college athletic departments across the nation. I helped enhance the overall fan experience by leveraging social media content in new and innovating ways. Through my experience, I’ve learned how to effectively communicate in many different aspects allowing myself to convey messages and procedures in the most effective and professional manner.
