I’m an accomplished public affairs and communications professional with significant experience in strategic communications and advising leaders. I've worked in education, healthcare, nonprofit, and electric utilities. While public relations is my passion, I also own a small business and use my creativity and artistic abilities to help homeowners and property owners with repair and remodeling projects. My strengths include fostering relationships, leading others, and developing content that engages team members and stakeholders. This includes internal and external communications, media relations, issues management and crisis communications, communication planning and publication development, executive communications, social media and video production, event planning, and more. I believe that successful PR efforts include proper research, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and I’m proud of the fact that many of the projects and campaigns I’ve developed and implemented have been recognized at the local, state, and national levels for meeting the highest standards for communication planning.
