Background
About Ryan Edwards
I am a Boston-based sound and installation artist at the helm of the studio I co-founded, MASARY. I am humbled by the folks I get to work with everyday, and the institutions, partner orgs and collaborators that our work joins forces with. Our work is focused at the intersection of interactivity, sound and light. We are interested in creating community, agency and participation through technology and new-media artworks. Personally, my work is influenced by the West African djembe repertoire in which I was immersed through my 20’s, and is balanced by an interest in electronic and urban dance music. I am most proud to be a father of FOUR beautiful children, Marcel, Julian, Jafiah and Maya.
