Support accident investigations by ensuring all incidents are properly recorded, thoroughly investigated, and reported to the appropriate authorities when required. Deliver engaging toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce a strong site safety culture and promote team involvement. Support the implementation and compliance of Safe Systems of Work and Permit-to-Work procedures in high-risk environments. Take firm and appropriate action to address any breaches of company standards or non-compliance, ensuring lessons are learned and shared. Champion a strong understanding of local HSE legislation, actively promoting alignment between procedures, practices, and regulatory expectations. Assist in identifying training needs, developing and delivering relevant training sessions to enhance workforce competence and awareness. Provide clear, informed advice to senior management on current and emerging HSE legislation, supporting strategic decision-making with actionable compliance plans. I hold the NEBOSH General Certificate and the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (Level 3), along with IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, and have recently completed the ISO 14001 Internal Auditor course. I am currently working towards the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Construction Certificates IOSH Level 6 diploma,as well as ISO 9001 Auditor certification.
