About Ryan Forgeron

Finance Graduate, Business Development Representative, and Entrepreneur. I’m a 2024 Business graduate from Mount Royal University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Marketing. Shortly after graduating, I joined Basecamp Resorts full-time and have since grown into a role in Business Development. In my current position, I focus on building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective investors. My goal is to raise equity capital that supports Basecamp’s continued expansion and growth across Western Canada. I’m passionate about connecting people to opportunities and contributing to the development of unique hospitality, wellness and real estate projects. In my previous role as a Junior Financial Analyst with Basecamp Resorts, I worked to support financial strategies, evaluate investment opportunities and conduct market research. In 2023, I completed an internship at Northbase Finance, gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis while conducting research in multiple industries. In addition to my professional experience, I also pursued an entrepreneurial venture, Forge Yardwork. During this time I ran operations, administration and hired contractors for over 4 years. I have recently sold my business to transition into a full-time role at Basecamp.
