About Ryan Fouad

As a Systems Engineer at Roche, I apply my chemical engineering skills and knowledge to design, optimize, and improve processes and systems for medical devices and diagnostics. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical problems, implement solutions, and ensure quality and compliance standards.I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Chemical Engineering, where I developed an expertise in chemical process design and optimization, and gained hands-on experience in research and development. I worked at the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis, where I analyzed the electrochemical properties of organic membranes for solar fuel cells, and at Blue Seal Protection, where I helped manufacture prototypes for facemasks to prevent the spread of Covid-19. I am passionate about applying engineering principles to address real-world challenges and create positive social and environmental impact. I am adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, working effectively in teams, and communicating clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. I am eager to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, and contribute to your team's vision and mission.
