In addition to solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage individuals at all levels, I have extensive experience in legislative research and analysis, direct lobbying, internal and external communications, stakeholder outreach, and developing and disseminating information for diverse audiences. I am currently responsible for the management of all aspects of commercial and strategic alliance proposal development for an insurance carrier with nearly 1 million members, working closely with corporate leadership to align messaging and strategy to ensure continued success. In previous positions, my duties have consisted of developing and implementing communications strategies for reaching members, stakeholders and the media. I have been entrusted with formulating legislative and policy strategy and communicating those positions to legislators and their staffs, agency officials and a broad range of interested parties, and I have undertaken projects to increase stakeholder acceptance, compliance and commitment.
