About Ryan Frusti

Since my first endeavor into entrepreneurship in my early 20’s, I’ve known that growing business is what really ignites me. After 4 years of apprenticeship, I had started my own construction company specializing in custom homes and interior finish work. I found envisioning and executing a construction project from the ground up a rewarding process, and in my downtime, fed my fascination for business marketing and strategy with podcasts and books — until fate intervened. When the 2008 market crash hit, I saw firsthand the need for creative solutions and proactive problem-solving in the business world, and enrolled myself in college to learn everything I could about creative marketing. Now in my 30’s and in school through the rise of social media, my wife and I began to realize the power that freshly-trending Facebook possessed for small businesses as a marketing equalizer and began to hold Facebook for Small Business classes. In the course of four months, we had over 70 businesses join in, many of which became our first clients in the digital marketing world. Through those humble beginnings launching Make A Wave Agency as a husband-and-wife team, I had the opportunity to step into every critical role of a marketing agency — an experience that I now draw from as I lead and coordinate our team of 10+ digital experts, playing to each role’s strength to help our clients make the biggest impact in their communities.
