About Ryan Gonzalez

Having started his career building enterprise level, Internet based tech. solutions, Ryan pivoted to career in Finance, providing M&A advisory services to customers focused on the CEE region. From there, he moved on to banking where his initial focus was on the origination and structuring of debt with particular emphasis on non-recourse or limited recourse financing of infrastructure spanning a number of different sectors, including roads/highways, rail, gas networks, conventional energy and renewables. Additional experience included identifying and executing secondary market opportunities and supporting syndication activities. As a director at RBI, he eventually took over a portfolio of over USD 1.5 billion in distressed loans in Indonesia, Singapore and China. At present, Ryan is responsible for the corporate and equity investments of Raiffeisen Bank International. His main focus is on institutionalizing active ownership and promoting a holistic, value-driven approach to the management of the investment portfolio. Together with his team, he is particularly keen on supporting RBI's strategic objectives through selective inorganic growth initiatives in Fintech.
