About Ryan Gordon

With over 18 years of experience in Navy Medicine, I am a healthcare innovator and veteran leader who provides remote support to the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) as a Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) Virtual Deployability Coordinator at TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS). I am working on my Master’s of Healthcare from Western Governors University and have a Bachelor of Clinical Health Sciences from The George Washington University. I am skilled in organizational leadership, operational planning, AHLTA, and telemedicine for remote care settings. As a MEB Coordinator, I oversee the MEB activities and provide administrative support services to Navy Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NMRTC) and Units (NMRTU) with the management of active duty injury cases. I leverage my strong working relationship with healthcare providers and my critical thinking and analytical skills to manage complex medical cases. I am a medically retired veteran with experience in emergency/family/mental health care as a mid-level provider. I am a strong supporter of disruptive innovation theory implementation within the military healthcare field and I am looking to expand and strengthen my medical administration knowledge by obtaining a MHA through WGU online program starting summer 2023.
