About Ryan Harris

As a Security Consultant at Santander Consumer USA, I have over 20 years of experience in I.T. and cybersecurity, with multiple certifications in AWS, Azure, CompTIA, and Microsoft. My mission is to ensure the highest possible level of security and reduce risk to a minimum, while enabling business innovation and agility across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid cloud systems. I lead the security architecture and governance of all products and services for Santander US, applying my extensive knowledge and skills in cloud security best practices, server virtualization, email security, data loss prevention, state monitoring, and file integrity monitoring. I have also contributed to multiple projects involving regulatory compliance, security architecture design, vulnerability and compliance scanning, and mobile device security. I am always eager to learn new technologies, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver value to clients and stakeholders. I am a proud veteran of the US Navy, a half-marathon finisher, and a public speaker on sustainable living and affordable housing.
