About Ryan Harrison

I'm an IT professional and instructor with a foundation in technical support, classroom management, and hands-on troubleshooting. Currently, I teach the CompTIA A+ Computer Technician program at Job Corps, where I help students build practical IT skills and prepare for industry certification. My work draws on both technical expertise and a background in teaching, allowing me to break down complex information into clear, usable guidance. I’ve always been drawn to roles where communication and technology intersect. Whether supporting users, mentoring students, or managing a lab environment, I focus on solutions, clarity, and helping others gain confidence with technology. This approach not only supports learning but translates directly into reliable, user-focused IT support. I passed the first of two CompTIA A+ certification exams with the second exam coming up very soon. I am continuing to deepen my skill set through LinkedIn Learning. My areas of interest include Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, systems administration, ITIL practices, and eventually project management. I'm committed to lifelong learning and focused on building a well-rounded and valuable skill set in modern IT environments.
