I’m a geek, constantly looking for the next big thing and the latest obsession. Currently, I’m into (in no particular order): 3D printing, fixing up bikes, anything with a remote control, making the house smart, and figuring out how to build better ways of working. The list keeps growing because once I get curious about something, I dive all the way in. Most importantly, it’s always been about doing good work - solving business challenges and design problems, not just chasing awards. I find inspiration everywhere, and I’m driven by the idea that there’s always a better way to do things. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be in advertising. My mom worked in the business, and I practically grew up in the creative department (although it could have been all the art markers and colour photocopiers clouding my judgment with their wonderful aromas.) I still have a weakness for a good whiff of a Sharpie. That curiosity for creative work turned into a passion for digital design when I started college in the 90s - and realized the world was changing faster than the curriculum. So, I pitched the Dean on letting me build my own program. That mix of curiosity, stubbornness, and willingness to break a few rules has been my approach ever since. For over 25 years, I’ve worked across big agencies and small boutiques, leading teams, and delivering work for some of the world’s biggest brands. But in 2014, I co-founded Bandada to do things differently. We build flexible, curated project teams based on what clients actually need - no juniors, no layers, no unnecessary overhead. Just senior talent solving problems with creativity and care. When I’m not working, I’m usually tinkering with something - whether it’s a new design concept, the inner workings of a bike, or whatever project my 3D printer has on the go. I’m always chasing that next wave of curiosity.
