I'm an App technical lead and trained Cybersecurity Engineer—with a creative edge, product manager experience, and a passion for AppSec and InfraSec. After studying Cybersecurity at CSU Long Beach during the Pandemic, in the last two years I’ve earned certifications (PSM I, PSPO I, Sec+) and developed DevSecOps proficiency across modern platforms like Azure, AWS, and GitHub. Over the last two decades, I’ve built elegant websites and software applications for dozens of brands. From SMB to Fortune like American Standard, Village Homes, and Coleman Natural Foods—wearing hats as a web developer, creative director, and DevOps specialist. Now I’m no longer just building software—I’m securing it. My focus emerged during the stillness of the pandemic, after years responding to real-world incidents—client systems compromised by vulnerabilities rooted deep in the software architecture. What began as Incident Response evolved into cybersecurity engineering. I saw firsthand how quickly a misconfigured plugin or an exposed API endpoint could unravel trust. It wasn’t enough to write good code—I needed to understand how to protect it. That’s when my path shifted from creation alone to resilience. Now, I build (and guide teams to build) with security in mind from the first commit to the final deploy. I specialize in bridging the worlds of development and security, helping teams embed secure practices early without slowing down the build.
