About Ryan J. Byrd

Ryan is a diligent attorney with a background in various areas of law including but not limited to; regulatory affairs, compliance, bankruptcy, collections, title, contracts, business, and litigation. Ryan is always eager to learn new specialties and lead new programs at United Wholesale Mortgage. He is an integral part of the Legal and Compliance department at United Wholesale Mortgage ("UWM"). Currently Ryan is sole attorney managing loan level litigation at UWM, which includes interacting with opposing counsel across the Unites States as well as managing local counsel. In this role Ryan also leads UWM's national team of TRAC attorneys. Ryan also handles regulatory questions, post-closing loan level issues, and is involved in the research and launching of new products. Due to Ryan's B.S. in Packaging from Michigan State University, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has declared him eligible to sit for the Patent Bar.
