About Ryan Jacquemet

A newly graduated nurse seeking an entry level Registered Nurse position to hone nursing skills, gain competence and confidence in nursing practice while working to provide quality, patient-centered, and ethical care to diverse populations. A Bay Area native that ventured off to the Midwest to attend Beloit College and graduate with a BA in Sociology. While in the Midwest, I fell in love with healthcare, public safety, and creating relationships within the community while working as a Firefighter and EMT. Having served as a dedicated and compassionate EMT for the past five years in both municipal and private settings, I have been able to learn a great deal regarding patient care in the prehospital setting. I have taken great joy in tapping into and incorporating aspects from my sociological knowledge base in order to better understand the unique circumstances of each patient, and tailor treatments to address each patient's individual needs. When not studying or working, I love to create delicious home cooked meals, enjoy working to fix up a 1972 Chevy C10 with my father, can be found at the archery range, and practicing guitar. When time and whether permits, I greatly enjoy hiking and backpacking, and often bring my camera along for the journey.
