About Ryan Jaramillo

It is hard to articulate what sports mean to me and how much they have shaped my personal and professional journey. I am a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, where I studied Graphic Design and Marketing. Marketing and branding are my passions, and I envision building a long-term career in the field, specifically within professional sports or a college athletics department. For the past two years, I have worked for the University of Arizona Athletics and Football programs, where my focus was executing creative and recruitment media, marketing materials, social media, and gameday production. These experiences have allowed me to improve my professional skills, such as communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects. Last year, I created and managed a dedicated University of Arizona sports media Instagram page called ZonaUnified, where I developed and curated all written and visual content that engaged with accounts monthly. I also managed content scheduling and learned how to use analytics tools to optimize strategies to reach my targeted audiences. I did not feel overwhelmed by my many roles and responsibilities in the athletics department; instead, I felt energized. I am motivated to advance my career in professional sports.
