A Registered Nurse in the Philippines with more than two years experience in the academe as Faculty and a decade of extensive experience in technical and executive roles in humanitarian action. Conceptualized and successfully implemented short and long term emergency response and developmental projects supported by the WHO, IFRC, ECHO, Spanish, Australian, Japanese, Netherlands Red Cross and Canadian Red Cross Societies among others. Co-founded the Red Cross Red Crescent South-East Asia Community Resilience Forum- a unifying platform of dialogue for the region's Organizational Development, Health, and Disaster Management core executives. Paved the foundations for the development of Philippine Red Cross' Emergency Field Hospital capacity with support from Canadian and Japanese Red Cross Societies. Experienced in knowledge management, portfolio management, advocacy and partnership, behavioral change communication, data privacy management, training development and administration, and partnership building. Engaged in Typhoon Ketsana Health response and managed Health Emergency Response operations for the disasters and public health emergencies from 2010 until 2013. Led the first month of Field Emergency Operations on Supertyphoon Haiyan in Tacloban, Leyte. Served as Covid19 ward nurse in San Lazaro Hospital under Medicins Sans Frontieres and as a Covid 19 Emergency Field Hospital Consultant with the Philippine Red Cross in collaboration with the Lung Center of the Philippines.
