I am a growth-minded, people-focused, and process-driven HR/LR/OD leader and trusted advisor that's passionate about collaborative continuous improvement, digital transformation in management administration, lean system design, and the future of diverse & inclusive leadership in hybrid/distributed teams. I bring 10+ years of HR/LR/OD experience across multiple functional areas, including team/people leadership, labour relations, HRIS design & implementation, mediation/arbitration, conflict resolution, negotiation, policy/procedure design & administration, workplace accommodations, progressive discipline, grievance administration, full-cycle HR management, internal investigations, training design & delivery in LMS frameworks, and industrial relations research. Additionally, I have valuable contract management, teaching, marketing, business development, consulting, sales, and project management experience from a diversified professional career. My education includes an MBA in Strategic Human Resources Management from Wilfrid Laurier and an MA in Labour Relations Studies from McMaster University. I have applied the benefits of my advanced education in public, private, and non-profit workplaces across a variety of industries - especially within the healthcare and public sectors. In my personal life, I volunteer for organizations that advance voluntarism, pediatric cancer research, and women's rights in Ontario. My lifelong love of cycling, skiing, and world travel has taken me to mountains across North America, inspired a 3300km cycle tour from Guelph to Newfoundland (2016), and saw me complete a 4800km solo cycle tour across Europe and Africa (July-October 2018). I like to take the long-view in life and inspire others to believe that greatness is possible when we embrace growth/change and work together respectfully.
