About Ryan Jordan

I have always had an interest in business as well as computers which made deciding on a major difficult, at least until I heard about Management Information Systems (MIS). It allows me to apply technical skills to a business situation and, considering I enjoy problem-solving, is a perfect fit. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy time with friends and family and playing golf. I also like to live a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly. I am also an avid outdoorsman and love hikes, camping, or anything that gets me outside. I also enjoy working with people and meeting new people, so feel free to message me. MIS has given me several valuable skills that I feel I can bring to any organization. Some of my technical skills are Java, PHP, SQL, HTML5, CSS, R, as well as Apache Velocity. I have also studied Business Process Management (BPMN) and Project Management. Lastly, I have used different services for business intelligence purposes such as BigML and Tableau for data mining and analytics. In addition to the tangible skills, MIS has allowed me to gain professional skills through professional development and earn the ArchReady Professionalism Certificate through UGA.
