About Ryan Kerr

When I was a kid watching my first baseball game on a TV, the Mets vs the Braves, I told my dad that I wanted to be a Braves fan because I thought the tomahawk was the coolest thing ever. I was then told that if I wanted to continue living at home that I would be a Mets fan. Thus began the up and down journey of Mets fandom. Years later I am still a Mets fan and I find myself going through yet another journey. For most of my professional career I have been in sales, from wine to industrial equipment. While I enjoyed aspects of these jobs, what I enjoyed the most was helping people. I now have found myself in a brand-new industry where I have quickly learned I can help people in more ways than I thought possible before. My career change is also accompanied by my wife and I having our first child, a beautiful little girl and soon to be Mets fan. This past year I started working to get all my necessary licenses while simultaneously learning how to become a better dad. While I am drinking from the fire hose right now, I am learning something new every day and look forward to utilizing that knowledge to help my future clients and my daughter. I have joined a firm with a great mentor who is helping to guide me while also giving me the tools to learn the business from the ground up and help me to become a well-rounded financial advisor. I know that with my wonderful wife and daughter in my corner, I will be able to utilize all my past experiences and new skills to assist clients in the near future to accomplish their goals and who knows, maybe I will finally see the Mets win a World Series.
