Throughout my career, I have led a range of project and business management functions spanning financial forecasting, monthly reporting and business analysis, and risk management. I have deep knowledge of project controls and have held leadership roles in various companywide initiatives. One of my greatest strengths is an ability to see around corners, anticipate obstacles, and remove barriers to achieve yearly portfolio financial and strategic objectives. My expertise in assimilating data from multiple, disparate sources, strength in creating dashboards and reports, and ability to serve as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders undergirds my role as a trusted advisor to senior executives. In my current role as Business Manager for S&B Engineers and Constructors, I work cross-functionally to set up strategies and processes as the company works to migrate towards a portfolio-driven organizational model. I have played a significant role in my employer’s ability to improve bottom-line results and enhance customer satisfaction. My experience includes: Collaborating with portfolio leaders to develop and meet business strategy and forecast through various deliverables such as annual portfolio operating plan, mid-year reforecast, and monthly P&L variance tracking. A wide range of project controls work experience that includes project controls manager and cost engineer on projects spanning cost-reimbursable, lump sum, joint venture contract types; scopes include engineering, engineering & procurement, and engineering, procurement & construction. Selection as the face of S&B Engineers and Constructors in delivering keynote presentations at industry conferences and serving on research teams. In a prior role with S&B, I served as Project Controls Manager for projects including: EPC Lump Sum project to engineer, procure, and construct new grassroots fractionation unit for Phillips 66, Sweeny Frac IV Project ($422M). EP Cost Plus capital project to provide engineering, procurement, and construction support services for Marathon Galveston Bay Refinery, Project Alliance. EP Cost Plus project to recover and compress vented gas from East Property Flare header and bring Deer Park East Property Flare into compliance with the EPA for Shell ($95M). When I’m not working, I can be found engaging in outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting – or photography.
